All Products are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for help with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company. We also offer 5 years extended warranty plan that covers every type of damage that can happen within 5 years period. Please contact our customer service for an extended warranty plan quote.
We strive to carry quality brands and deliver your new furniture in perfect condition. If you need service on furniture, we will do everything we can to help you. The manufacturer usually handles part replacements, etc. There will be a note in the literature that comes with your new furniture that will direct you who to call in the event that service or replacement is needed. If this information is not available, please contact us for assistance. We will do everything we can to make sure you are satisfied.
In the rare situation (less than 1% of the shipments) that you experience damage in your shipment there are 2 types of possible scenarios:
Visible damage: when the packaging has visible imperfections that may or may not affect your merchandise inside. In this case please be sure to note it on the delivery paperwork you sign, even if you think that the damage is tiny and your merchandise is fine. Always take your time to inspect your product packaging disregarding if driver is in a hurry etc. If the carton and the merchandise are obviously severely damaged, please refuse the shipment from the freight company. In any damage case please contact us as soon as possible. Visible damage claims are accepted within 72h upon delivery and require your full cooperation with our claims department in terms of providing quality pictures and arranging possible inspection by the carrier.
Refusal to cooperate will void the damage claim. We will arrange for a repair or, if necessary, replacement or replacement parts to be rushed out. We will take the quickest route to remedy the situation. We do not pick up damaged/defective merchandise for a full refund in any case, no exceptions. We bring the merchandise to the original condition by ether repairing to your 100% full satisfaction or partial or full replacement. If you will refuse the repair/replacement and will choose to return the merchandise for a refund, then our full return policy will apply (please see below).
Concealed damage in intact packaging: when the packaging was intact at the delivery, but upon opening it was discovered that the merchandise has damages/manufacturer defects. This type of damage has a much more urgent nature as it is much harder to convince the carrier that the damage occurred in transit if an extended period of time has passed between the delivery and the claim. Therefore concealed damage claims are only accepted within 48 hours upon delivery, no exceptions. After the report rules for visible damage apply.
No matter what type of damage occurred please save the packaging. Discarded packaging will effectively void the claim.
If we are able to cancel your order before it is produced and/or shipped, there is not a charge for the cancellation. If the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping charges and 20% restocking fee. These charges will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations or returns must be authorized in advance.
***For items that are custom ordered, there are no options for cancellation. Custom order sale is final, no exceptions.

Generally on all items the return policy is that you are responsible for round trip freight if the furniture has already been shipped/produced. Please contact us and we will assess your situation. A 20% re-stocking fee is also deducted from your refund. On Free Shipping items the shipping charges are included in the price but you will still be charged for round trip shipping costs incurred by NY Furniture. Please be careful when ordering your furniture and let us know if we can be of assistance in selecting the right furniture for your situation. Always measure the space you are placing the furniture. Sorry we cannot accept returns for assembled merchandise. Any returns must be in their original packaging, no exceptions. Items will not be authorized for return after 7 days from the delivery date. Your credit card will be refunded once the manufacturer receives the returned item.
We do our best to accurately show the finish colors of each piece we carry, however colors can vary by personal perceptions, monitor type and age, video card differences and printing variations therefore exact tone match is not guaranteed.
UPS/FedEx Small Package Deliveries
When possible, your package will ship via UPS/FedEx; doorstep service is usually available. UPS/FedEx will not notify you prior to delivery.
Truck Curbside Deliveries (default option)
All the delivery prices advertised online include curbside delivery. It is a service when the truck will deliver to the closest truck accessible area and the merchandise will be unloaded from the truck by the driver using the lift gate to the ground level. Common carrier deliveries are only performed Monday through Friday. For all Canadian shipments shipping price DOES NOT include Canadian border crossing fees. It is customer responsibility to clear incoming merchandise through customs.
An appointment by telephone is usually scheduled by the freight company, however it is not guaranteed. Checking merchandise condition is customer’s responsibility.
Delivery driver is obligated to wait for you to inspect every single box delivered for any visible damages. Please make sure to NOTE EVERY BOX IMPERFECTION on the delivery slip before signing it. If there will be visible damages on the boxes not noted on the delivery slip – those damages will be your responsibility as they will no longer be disputable with the freight company.
The driver will not allow you to unpack the packaging to inspect the merchandise, but you are only signing for intact packaging, not the product. Therefore please take your time and inspect every inch of it. Please also make sure you will have someone strong and experienced in furniture handling to bring it inside to minimize probability of furniture and your other property damage during that process.
Inside delivery/White Glove Service (available for extra fee)
Delivery service level upgrade is only available while the merchandise has not been shipped yet. Inside delivery service option includes your furniture delivery inside and placement in the room of choice. No unpacking or assembling.
White Glove delivery includes inside delivery + unpacking, assembling and debris removal. Please take your time and inspect the merchandise before signing for perfect condition. Absolutely no damage claims are accepted for this type of delivery, no exceptions. Please contact us for a quote for the service upgrade.
